I don’t have a table at this years Thought Bubble (although I will hopefully be there on the Saturday) but I am appearing in two comics.
A great anthology comic from Dave O’Connell with lot’s of talented people.
The horror comic for kids. This is the first issue of Boo! and it looks fantastic. I’m blessed to be part of something containing this much talent.
Also Art V Cancer will be there selling prints for a good cause and they’ll have this print of mine.
Excited to let you all know Art V Cancer will be at Thought Bubble UK later this month. We know some of you will be there so come along and say hi!
Look forward to seeing you there with some pretty cool limited edition prints raising money for Cancer Charities..
Sneak Peek from Tony Hodgkinson
YOU have raised another donation of £3280.40/$5258.83 for Cancer Charities bringing the total raised so far by Art V Cancer to over £12,020/$19,323 and counting!
Not sure where to start but perhaps the best place is to say thank you to all of you who tweet, share, reblog and contribute to Art V Cancer. Without you - we could not do this!
The opening night of our second exhibition, ‘Bending Time & Space’ went really well, selling double the number of prints we sold at our previous exhibition. The exhibition opened with some people having turned up hours before to secure prints.
Again, we would like to thank all of you who turned up, supported the event and bought prints. It was fantastic to yet again put faces to names from those who follow Art V Cancer to the artists who contribute. At our next exhibition, however, I have decided that I will try to get more help rolling prints so I can actually chat to you all longer.
Following on from the opening night of the exhibition, we had a rush of international sales from those that could not attend the event and the response was simply amazing. The sales were fantastic with us selling out some of the prints in just over an hour!
With other prints selling out over the next couple of days and many more low on numbers. Again, huge thanks to artists taking time to contribute some stunning work.
We were really, ‘blown away’ by your support so much so that we plan to do it again!
Moving on, our next pitstop is at Thought Bubble UK in Leeds, November 2013. And we are super pleased to let you know that we are have new prints lined up for this event from yet more international and established artists.
Due to the success of this latest exhibition we also had a lot of people contact us about future support and exhibitions and not just in the UK… make sure to follow us here on Tumblr, Facebook and on Twitter to keep up to date with the exciting events..
So thanks all round - everyone. We appreciate your support VERY MUCH!
We will post some more photos of the exhibition soon. If you were there and took some photos, we would love to hear from you and to share them. Or if you would like to contact Art V Cancer about anything you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
